My personal experience with Wu Lao Shi was pretty vague. He explained to me how to blow the guan. That was pretty much it, I remembered not much. Then I remembered attending a concert. His solo was magnificient. Phenomenal, one of a kind. I couldn't remember the song was like but I certainly remembered how astounded and impressed I was. Such a great teacher, musician and person. A tragic loss for the Chinese Orchestral music industry. He was supposed to takeover Boon Lay Secondary School Chinese Orchestra. I was keen to see what he could bring to Blssco. I won't get to see it.
